(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of September 29, Nghe An Oriental Medicine Association held a conference to summarize 5 years of scientific activities.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Vietnam Association of Oriental Medicine and many traditional medicine practitioners in the province.

The conference evaluated topics and exchanged experiences in scientific research on medical examination and treatment.

Over the past 5 years, Nghe An Oriental Medicine Association has closely followed the policies and goals set out for professional activities, promoted the improvement of the quality of medical examination and treatment to serve the people and especially promoted the movement of collecting, inheriting, applying, summarizing and scientific research.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Association of Oriental Medicine and traditional medicine practitioners in the province.

Implementing the guidance of the Provincial Oriental Medicine Association, the Oriental Medicine Associations at district and hospital levels have carried out many research projects, many units have exceeded the targets such as Vinh City, Yen Thanh, Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital. Many projects have achieved high quality, notably the project "Research on some venomous snake species; herbal remedies and methods to treat venomous snake bites" by Traditional Medicine Practitioner Bui Duc Luc, Tan Ky Oriental Medicine Association or the project "Treatment of edematous glomerulonephritis" by Traditional Medicine Practitioner Nguyen Thi Phuong Ty, Vinh City Oriental Medicine Association.
