The Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs gives gifts to policy families.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 30, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province, headed by Chairman Ho Duc Thanh, had a working session with leaders, businesses, organizations and individuals of Quynh Luu district.

For many years, Quynh Luu district has always done a good job of repaying gratitude, remembering the source of water, showing gratitude and honoring heroic martyrs, and helping families improve their lives. At the meeting, the leaders of the Association called on businesses, organizations and individuals in the district to provide practical assistance to have more resources to help the families of martyrs. Right at the meeting, 8 businesses and individuals donated 56 million VND.

Comrade Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Association presented money to support the construction of a house of gratitude to Ms. Truong Thi Duyet - Mother of a Martyr in Quynh Thang commune.

Immediately after the working session, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of the province together with the leaders of Quynh Luu district presented 2 savings books to 2 families of martyrs' relatives, each worth 5 million VND including: Mrs. Tran Thi Soan in Tuan A hamlet, Quynh Chau commune, wife of a martyr; Mrs. Le Thi Nam in hamlet 3, Quynh Hoa commune, mother of a martyr. The delegation also handed over a house of gratitude to Mrs. Truong Thi Duyet - 84 years old, in hamlet 6 Dong Tam, Quynh Thang commune, mother of martyr Bui Van Cu. The Association supported Mrs. Duyet's family with 40 million VND to build a house.

This time, the granting of savings books and support for building new houses by the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An is one of the practical activities showing gratitude to the children of Quynh Luu homeland who sacrificed themselves for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland./.
