Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province met to celebrate the 108th anniversary of the October Revolution in Russia
On the morning of November 7, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province held a meeting to celebrate the 108th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (1917-2025) and summarize people-to-people diplomacy activities in 2025.
Since its establishment in 1957, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province has had many active activities contributing to the development of foreign relations between the Party, State and People of the two countries Vietnam - the former Soviet Union and Vietnam - the Russian Federation today; the foreign relations between Nghe An province - the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh and Ulyanovsk province - the homeland of the great leader VI Lenin.
Specifically, over the past years, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province has regularly and proactively improved the quality of work, information, propaganda, and promotion of the traditional solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between the State and People of Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
With the role of advisor and bridging Vietnamese organizations in the Russian Federation, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province has connected and implemented many projects on economy, investment, trade and constantly fostered solidarity and friendship between the people of the two countries.
In this commemorative meeting, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province respectfully reviewed the values and historical significance of the Russian October Revolution for Vietnam: Opening the path to national liberation and building socialism according to Marxist-Leninist ideology; strongly encouraging the national liberation movement and becoming the decisive driving force for the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province also reviewed and evaluated people-to-people diplomacy activities in 2025; proposed directions and tasks for the association's work in 2026.
Before the meeting, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association of Nghe An province came to offer flowers and pay respect at the statue of VI Lenin in Truong Vinh ward on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (1917-2025).
