Nghe An Youth Union has a new President

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 29, the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Nghe An provinceSession V, term 2014 - 2019 organizationThe Conference of Consultative Conference to supplement the position of Committee Member and the position of President of the Association.

The delegates introduced and negotiated to elect 11 additional members to the Association's Committee.

Comrade Chu Duc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province was elected by delegates to hold the position of President of the 5th term, 2014 - 2019 term, replacing comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - former President of the Provincial Youth Union.

Previously, on August 16, 2017, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province was appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term.

After the reorganization, the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province, term V, currently has 51 members of the Association's Committee. Speaking at the conference, the leader of the Provincial Youth Union emphasized: the members of the Association's Committee need to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unanimity, have steadfastness, intelligence, morality, prestige, represent the will, aspirations and intelligence of the youth, and lead the successful implementation of the tasks, programs of the association's work and the youth movement.
