Extended Executive Committee Conference of Nghe An Elderly Association
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 14, the Nghe An Provincial Association of the Elderly held an extended Executive Committee meeting and summarized the Association's work in 2020. Attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and related departments, branches and sectors.

At the extended Executive Committee meeting,Association of the ElderlyNghe An identified a number of key activities in 2021 to continue consolidating and building a strong and comprehensive Association with 3 key tasks and 2 major work programs including: Environmental Protection Program; Buildingnew rural areas; Civilized urban areas; Program to build a fund to care for and promote the role of the elderly. The Association also determined to promote the emulation movement "old age - bright example"...
In 2020, Nghe An Elderly Association admitted nearly 19,000 members and to date the Association has a total of 405,000 members.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee Chairman awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the past time and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly awarded Certificates of Merit to 54 collectives and 34 individuals; Nghe An Provincial Police awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 2 individuals.
