Conference on University, College and Vocational College Admissions 2013
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning (March 14), at the Central College of Transport, the Department of Education and Training held a summary of the university and college entrance examination and enrollment in 2012 and deployed tasks for 2013.
2012 is the 6th year that the Department of Education and Training has made many improvements in the process of receiving and handing over admission documents. The organization of the exam took place safely, seriously, in accordance with regulations, and conveniently for candidates. The selection process of vocational secondary schools and colleges training secondary schools has been put into order and has many improvements. The nomination system ensures fairness, publicity, and democracy.
In the 2012 university and college entrance exam, the number of students in the province who passed the university and college entrance exam was 18,322, of which 68 students in group A scored 27 points or more; 84 students in group C and D scored 24 points or more; 4 students in group A1 and gifted scored 26 points or more. However, the 2012 enrollment work still had some problems such as: Some units and enrollment officers were not careful in processing data; did not fully understand the process of receiving and delivering documents, leading to discrepancies in data and documents, confusion in student information, especially information about the exam cluster, information about student wishes. Many units did not carefully monitor when issuing exam notices and exam result notices, leading to the situation of lost notices, making it difficult to process. Career guidance and orientation have not received much attention, leading to some social sectors that are needed but still have difficulty recruiting students.

At the conference, along with discussing some solutions to overcome shortcomings and limitations in the 2012 enrollment work, the Department of Education and Training also provided some information on adjustments, additions and new points in the 2013 university, college and vocational training enrollment work for the education departments and schools. Regarding the tasks of university and college enrollment work in 2013, in addition to establishing the enrollment steering committee at all levels, the Department, departments and schools will continue to promote propaganda work to raise awareness about careers, career counseling, school, block and major selection for students and parents; actively direct the improvement of the quality of university and college entrance exams; strictly implement the 2013 university, college and vocational training enrollment regulations of the Ministry and the regulations on enrollment procedures of the Department of Education and Training.
The 2013 regular university and college entrance exams will basically remain stable as in 2012 and earlier, following the "3 common" solution. The Ministry has assigned the Department the exclusive right to print and distribute the 2013 exam registration forms. The Department of Education and Training will only accept applications that follow the Department's form and regulations (with the red seal of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training). The Nghe An Department of Education and Training will accept exam registration forms from April 7 to April 14. |
