The conference evaluated the school's enrollment and vocational training in 2013 and the first 6 months of 2014.

Last year, the school had more than 8,000 students graduating, including nearly 1,500 college graduates and more than 2,000 vocational school graduates. The number of discharged soldiers accounted for more than 50%.

At the conference, delegates representing the Political Department of Military Region 4, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the press of the Central, the province and the provinces in the North Central region, and representatives of enterprises analyzed the advantages and disadvantages, the shortcomings in vocational training and job creation today, especially for those from families with preferential policies, poor households and demobilized soldiers. At the same time, it is hoped that in the coming time, Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense will diversify the occupations in training, aiming at some occupations with high recruitment demand, especially focusing on occupations that have reached international, regional and national levels. Strengthen cooperation with other countries to promote the labor export market and continue to coordinate well with domestic enterprises to recruit students after graduation. Have preferential policies for those from families with preferential policies and demobilized soldiers. Promote propaganda work on the media to continue promoting the school's training and career orientation for students after graduation.

Vocational College No. 4 is one of 40 schools nationwide approved by the Prime Minister to focus on building a high-quality vocational school with a vision to 2020. With 17 training majors, each year the school trains 11,000 - 12,000 students for demobilized soldiers, social policy beneficiaries, children from remote areas and Laos. Of which, 90% of graduates are introduced to jobs by the school with stable jobs and good income.
