(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 27, the Provincial Inspectorate organized a conference of typical advanced delegates for the period 2010 - 2015.

The entire provincial inspection sector has 39 organizations with 305 officers and inspectors. Responding to patriotic emulation movements launched by the Government Inspectorate, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, over the past 5 years, the inspection sector has continuously and excellently completed its assigned tasks, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety.

The sector has innovated its work, improved the quality and effectiveness of inspection work, the whole sector has conducted 1,033 administrative inspections; 532 inspections on complaints, denunciations and anti-corruption associated with inspections of the performance of public duties by officials in performing public duties; and conducted 25,447 specialized inspections and checks.

Through inspection, 76/103 billion VND was recovered for the state budget (reaching a rate of 74%); the final settlement value of the project was reduced by 91.6 billion VND; 19,578 decisions on administrative sanctions were issued against 24,251 organizations and individuals with violations with a fine of 58.1 billion VND (100% penalty rate); 4,625 hectares of land were handled; 468 collectives and 1,109 individuals with violations were recommended for review, experience drawing and administrative sanctions...

In the work of receiving people and resolving complaints and denunciations, from 2010 to present, we have coordinated with relevant agencies to conduct inspections, verify, and advise competent authorities to resolve 2,514/2,585 complaints and denunciations, reaching a rate of 97.3%.

In general, complaints and denunciations are resolved at the grassroots level, minimizing the number of petitions that go beyond the level. In the emulation movement to improve the quality and effectiveness in the fight against corruption, anti-corruption and post-inspection handling, through socio-economic inspection activities and complaint and denunciation handling, 16 cases with signs of corruption were discovered and transferred to the investigation agency for prosecution; nearly 1,000 inspection conclusions and handling decisions were inspected and urged, thereby recovering nearly 15 billion VND.

In addition, emulation movements to improve the quality of propaganda, dissemination of legal education; consulting on the development of legal documents and perfecting policy mechanisms; administrative reform; building initiatives to improve the effectiveness of public service implementation; and personnel organization work... have all been promoted.

From actively responding to emulation movements, the inspection sector has produced many outstanding collectives and individuals who have been awarded annually by the province, ministries, branches, the Government Inspectorate, the Prime Minister, and the President.

Summarizing the 5-year emulation movement, the entire inspection sector has 34 collective examples (including 5 collectives belonging to the Provincial Inspectorate, 29/38 district and sector inspection units) and 62 individual examples recognized as typical and advanced.

The inspection sector sets out directions, tasks and groups of solutions to continue promoting the patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2016 - 2020. That is to continue promoting the propaganda of the Party and State's guidelines and policies on emulation work, raising awareness for cadres and civil servants in the whole sector; directing inspection organizations to develop emulation programs and plans; improving the quality of developing annual inspection programs and plans; paying attention to research work, summarizing experiences in developing work projects, advising competent authorities to develop legal documents to better lead, direct and organize the implementation of professional tasks; conducting reviews, synthesizing, inspecting and advising competent authorities to direct the implementation of post-inspection handling decisions; detecting, building and replicating outstanding examples; promptly criticizing negative deviations and resolutely fighting against bureaucracy, authoritarianism, taking advantage of work for personal gain...

Attending the conference, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the achievements of the inspection sector in recent years, and at the same time requested the entire inspection sector to continue administrative reform, promote technology application; launch a movement to build experience initiatives; continue to do a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee; coordinate well with departments and branches, especially the internal affairs sector; pay attention to training to improve the quality of inspection officers and civil servants in both professional expertise and ethics... to continue to achieve more achievements in the next period.
