According to the assessment of the Department of Information and Communications, in October, local and central press agencies in the province actively reported on outstanding events such as: the implementation of self-criticism and criticism in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (9th tenure) associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example; National Assembly deputies meeting voters before the 4th session of the 13th National Assembly; activities to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Truong Bon victory; visits and working sessions in Nghe An by Party and State leaders; talks between the two provinces of Bolykhamxay - Laos and Nghe An - Vietnam... The press also spent a lot of time reporting on other internal and external activities of the provincial leaders; information on the socio-economic situation in October, outstanding results as well as difficulties and problems; … Cases showing signs of law violations in economics, land, projects, mineral resource exploitation, avian flu situation, environmental pollution, food safety and hygiene, traffic safety…

Regarding the propaganda orientation in November, press agencies should pay attention to focusing on propagating some contents such as: continuing to propagate the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee and studying Resolution 5 of the Central Committee (term XI) in conjunction with Directive 03 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example; providing information on solutions to stabilize the macro economy, control inflation, and ensure social security; propagating to localities to produce winter crops in time, prevent pests and diseases of livestock and poultry during the transitional season; work to prevent natural disasters and floods, prevent and combat acts of smuggling, production, trading, storing and illegally using fireworks. Especially focusing on propagating the 100th anniversary of the birth of comrade Nguyen Tiem - the first Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Nghe An.
Also at the press conference, the representative of the Nam Dan District People's Committee reported on the progress of preparations for the 100th anniversary of the birth of comrade Nguyen Tiem and the 1300th anniversary of the Hoan Chau Uprising, the 1290th anniversary of the death of Mai Hac De and the Mai King Temple Festival in 2013.
In his concluding remarks, Comrade To Hong Hai acknowledged, accepted and learned from the comments and suggestions of the leaders of the press agencies, especially in the organization of major holidays and important events recently.
