Third quarter meeting of school block

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 4, the Conference on Youth Union work and youth movements of affiliated universities and colleges was held at Nghe An College of Economics and Technology.

Attending the conference were comrade Duong Hoang Vu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Student Association.

In the third quarter, the Youth Union of universities and colleges made great efforts to implement the Youth Union and youth movement programs with many creative and rich contents, focusing on key points closely following the annual work theme. The Youth Union of schools has creatively built many models and organized many forums to improve the quality of teaching and scientific research. One of the activities that made a deep impression in the third quarter was the 2013 Summer Volunteer Campaign. On this occasion, 29 individuals and 21 groups were awarded certificates of merit by the Central Student Association and the Provincial Student Association for their outstanding achievements in the 2013 Exam Support Campaign.

In the fourth quarter work program, the youth of universities and colleges continued to organize key activities such as: closely following the 2013 theme "Improving the effectiveness of the Union's educational work" and implementing the set targets; directing and organizing the Student Union Congress; organizing meaningful activities to welcome the 2nd Provincial Student Union Congress and the 9th National Student Union Congress.

Also at the conference, the Provincial Youth Union's School Youth Union and the university and college bloc presented 9 gifts to poor but excellent students, and raised nearly 20 million VND to support flood victims in Hoang Mai town and to overcome the consequences of the recent storm No. 10.
