Conference on cooperation in training to improve the quality of human resources in the new period

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, April 14, Vinh University organized a Conference on Cooperation in Training to Improve the Quality of Human Resources in the New Period. Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Education and Training of the provinces: Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Dong Thap University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, the school's principal, chaired the conference.

In recent years, in parallel with training activities, Vinh University's science and technology activities have developed strongly in quantity and quality. In the past 10 years alone, the university's staff have carried out 24 state-level projects, 203 ministerial-level projects, and 1,857 grassroots-level projects. The registration, acceptance, management of projects, and funding have been carried out effectively with a total budget of more than 54 billion VND. The association of scientific research activities with consulting and transferring science and technology to serve the socio-economic development of the locality and region has had positive results.

Delegates attending the conference discussed to affirm the leadership of the Education and Training sector as orienting and decisive for cooperation activities between Vinh University and localities, units, and educational institutions. Pointed out the shortcomings in training cooperation activities in the spirit of frankness, construction, and solidarity to overcome together in the coming time. Together, they identified the advantages and difficulties, forecasted the training needs of all levels and majors of localities, regions, and the ability to cooperate and link training between Vinh University and localities and units. Delegates also focused on the following contents: adjusting and innovating training programs, inspection and evaluation work, learner management work, developing training plans suitable to the actual work of agencies, units, schools, and localities.

Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa hoped that delegates would focus on discussing to improve the quality of human resources being trained at the school. From there, there will be plans to plan human resources, focus on training human resources in depth, only focus on quality and not chase after quantity.
