18th Conference of the Provincial Police Party Executive Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 17, the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Police held the 18th Conference to discuss the Political Report of the 12th Provincial Police Party Committee to be presented to the 13th Provincial Police Party Congress, to evaluate the results of the leadership and direction of the Party Committee Standing Committee since the 17th Conference of the Provincial Police Party Committee to date and the results of inspection and supervision work in the first quarter.

Major General Nguyen Xuan Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department chaired the conference.

Conference overview

During the past term, the Provincial Public Security Party Committee has closely followed the leadership of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to focus on leading the completion of the tasks set out by the 12th Provincial Public Security Party Congress. Timely and sensitively grasping, analyzing, synthesizing and forecasting the situation; proactively advising the Party Committee and the Government to effectively direct the implementation of Resolutions, Directives and major policies of the Party, Government and Ministry of Public Security on protecting security and order and building forces. Synchronously deploying plans and measures to fight and defeat the plots and activities of all types of subjects, preventing the formation of opposition political organizations, preventing riots, terrorism, sabotage and political disturbances from occurring in the area.

Safeguarding key targets, major political and social activities; mastering the situation in the fight against and prevention of crime; administrative reform and judicial reform have been promoted and achieved practical results; Party building and force building have had many innovations and clear changes; the leadership role of Party committees at all levels has been increasingly promoted; many examples of integrity, intelligence and courage have emerged in the fight against crime. Logistics and technical work has achieved outstanding results, facilities and means have been significantly enhanced, better serving the work and combat requirements of the entire force in the new situation.
