(Baonghean) - On the morning of April 11, the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province held a conference to collect comments on the Law on Judicial Expertise. Comrade Pham Van Tan - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An chaired.
The Draft Law on Judicial Expertise consists of 8 chapters and 47 articles regulating judicial experts, judicial appraisal organizations, judicial appraisers, judicial appraisal organizations by case, appraisal activities; appraisal costs, policies and regimes for judicial appraisal activities and responsibilities of State agencies for judicial appraisal organizations and activities.
This is an extremely important content directly related to the investigation and appraisal process of many departments and branches, so it has received the attention of many participating members. The opinions emphasized: This draft law has a relatively comprehensive scope of regulation compared to the 2004 Judicial Appraisal Ordinance; the establishment of two types of public and non-public judicial appraisal is completely in line with the spirit of judicial reform.
Regarding forensic examination work, some delegates suggested that it should be centralized under one authority, which could be the Police or the Department of Health. Delegates also discussed some contents of the standards for appointing examiners; State policies, responsibilities of individuals and organizations for forensic examination activities; rights and obligations of examiners, and agencies and units related to forensic examination activities.
On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Comrade Pham Van Tan received comments from the sectors to report to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration, supplementation and adjustment.
