Conference to collect comments on the Draft Civil Code (amended)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 9, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province held a conference to collect comments on the Draft Civil Code (amended). Comrade Pham Van Tan - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province chaired the conference.
Also attending were representatives of the Department of Justice, People's Court, People's Procuracy of the province and districts, cities, and towns, representatives of the Nghe An Bar Association and law offices in the province.

Mr. Pham Van Tan requested delegates to seriously and qualitatively contribute their opinions to the report explaining, accepting and revising the Civil Code (amended) of the National Assembly Standing Committee. |
The draft Civil Code (amended) has a total of 700 articles, organized into 6 parts with 26 chapters, and has been widely consulted among all classes of people. At the 9th session of the National Assembly, comments were given on the draft Civil Code (amended) and immediately after the session, the National Assembly Standing Committee directed the agencies in charge of the review to coordinate with the drafting agencies and relevant agencies and organizations to study and absorb the opinions of National Assembly deputies to revise the draft Code.

At the conference, delegates contributed many opinions on groups of issues that were received and explained by the National Assembly Standing Committee, focusing on key groups of issues, such as: On the responsibility of competent authorities in protecting civil rights; on personal rights of individuals; on gender conversion; on legal entities; on ownership rights and other property rights; on contract adjustment when circumstances change; on interest rates in property loan contracts; on legal consequences of civil transactions that do not comply with regulations on form; on property rights, on the statute of limitations, loss of civil rights...
