Military-political conference to deploy border work in 2013
(Baonghean.vn) -On January 14, the Nghe An Border Guard Command held a military-political conference to summarize border work in 2012 and deploy border work tasks in 2013.
Over the past year, units have actively and proactively grasped the situation, advised all levels to handle and resolve newly arising issues, avoiding hot spots and complicated areas, contributing significantly to maintaining the stability of security and order and social order in the border areas of Nghe An province.
During the year, 5 special projects, dozens of professional plans were successfully fought, 60 cases/69 subjects were discovered and arrested for illegal drug trading and storage were discovered and arrested. Also during the year, dozens of commercial fraud cases were handled; 259 cases/511 subjects/108 other law-breaking vehicles were discovered and investigated, 206 cases/429 subjects were handled for administrative violations, and 612,550,000 VND was fined to the State Treasury. Actively participated in building and consolidating political bases, developing economy, culture, society, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty in border and coastal areas, and building an increasingly strong people's border defense posture. With the above outstanding achievements, the provincial Border Guard force was awarded the excellent emulation flag by the Prime Minister.

Participate in building and consolidating political bases, effectively developing the economy, culture and society in border areas; building a peaceful and friendly border, cooperating with Laos and effectively carrying out border foreign affairs.
On this occasion, the units signed an emulation agreement to achieve many achievements in performing tasks in 2013; many outstanding collectives and individuals in the emulation movement to win in 2012 were awarded.
