Military-political conference and summary of combat training work in 2012

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning (January 11), the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command held a military-political conference to summarize combat training and the preliminary review of the "50 campaign" in 2012. Attending and directing the conference were Colonel Nguyen Huu Truyen - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4; Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Implementing the combat training order of the Military Region 4 Command in 2012, Nghe An Military Forces were fully informed and implemented the tasks, guidelines, methods, content, time and level of training. Party committees, commanders, officers and soldiers at all levels have focused on strictly implementing the task of combat readiness, forecasting and early detecting the security situation in the area, the western border, the sea, and special areas to handle it promptly, not allowing passive or unexpected situations to occur; Paying attention to consolidating and building an increasingly strong force; Carrying out training well, preparing well the teaching models, lesson plans, organizing competitions and sports; Focusing on building discipline, building a strong and comprehensive unit. At the same time, well implement the 50th campaign of the Ministry of National Defense on "management, exploitation of weapons, technical equipment, good durability, safety, economy and traffic safety" according to 4 goals: consolidate and upgrade technical agencies, warehouses, garages, artillery houses and technical means serving training tasks, combat readiness, contributing to ensuring political security, social order and safety in the whole province.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces need to focus on improving the quality of training and combat readiness; training, moral qualities, and ideals in officers and soldiers; building a special friendship with neighboring Lao provinces sharing the border to both ensure border security and promote socio-economic development; Pay attention to building militia and self-defense forces, reserve mobilization forces at the grassroots level; Focus on building a number of main combat units to proactively and promptly handle any situations that may arise.

Colonel Bui Hoai Thanh, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, awarded the title of Emulation Fighter to individuals.

At the conference, 1 collective and 1 individual were awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister; 158 collectives and 615 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 4, Provincial People's Committee and Provincial Military Command./.
