International Conference on Traffic Safety in Vietnam

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, has just agreed to allow the National Traffic Safety Committee to organize an international conference on traffic safety in Vietnam in 2012.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Standing Vice Chairman of the Committee to be responsible for approving the Conference organization project and directing the effective organization of the Conference, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

In an exchange with the National Traffic Safety Committee, it is known that the above conference was held to exchange and discuss scientific research results, practical experiences in the world and in the country, and the possibility of applying those results and experiences to implement Vietnam's traffic safety goals.

The conference is expected to take place in the form of meetings of specialized subcommittees such as: Infrastructure and traffic organization; Vehicles and drivers; Communication and education; Policy and policy implementation; Traffic management.

According to the National Traffic Safety Committee, the conference will play an important role in summarizing research results and practical experiences at home and abroad to help the National Traffic Safety Committee draft projects to develop and supplement policies, strategies, and plans to ensure traffic order and safety to report at the annual national conference on traffic safety.
