Conference to review experience in implementing defense exercises

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 4, the Provincial Military Command held a conference to review experiences on the 1-sided, 2-level Command-Staff Exercise on the map, with the application of information technology and partly in the field.

Colonel Tran Van Hung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command attended and chaired the conference.

In the short time, large space, large mobilized forces and means, the preparation and practice of the exercise were carried out urgently, according to plan, achieving the set goals, requirements and intentions. The exercise demonstrated a high level of unity in awareness and action in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and commanders, while also performing well the advisory function, coordinating and implementing quite synchronously for departments, branches and organizations from the province to the grassroots. The results of the exercise contributed to educating cadres, party members and soldiers of the provincial armed forces to better understand the plots and tricks of "Peaceful evolution" and riots and overthrow of hostile forces and provided a basis for continuing to research, adjust and supplement combat plans in line with the province's tasks, ready to receive and complete assigned tasks.

Concluding the Conference, Colonel Tran Van Hung requested agencies and units to seriously learn from the limitations in preparation as well as in practice exercises, promote the implementation of the peak emulation campaign with the theme "Forever the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers", and make practical achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 25th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22, 2014./.
