Conference of members of Nghe An Province Cooperative Union
(Baonghean) -This morning, July 20, Nghe An Province Cooperative Union held a conference of member enterprises and cooperatives.
Attending the conference were comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments, branches, Cua Lo Town People's Committee and 574 members.
The conference assessed the performance of the Union members, the role and important contributions of the member system to the socio-economic development of the province, especially in the development of cooperative economy, small-scale industry, and craft village construction; conducted a preliminary review of 3 years of implementing Directive 20-CT/BBT of the Secretariat and Conclusion 344-KL/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on continuing to innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of the Collective Economy.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Thai Van Hang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the performance of the system of member units of the Union in economic development and social security implementation in the province in the past time; at the same time, shared the common difficulties that enterprises and cooperatives are facing, thereby reminding the units to continue to implement well Resolution 11 of the Government on tightening monetary policy to fight inflation. He suggested that in the coming time, the Cooperative Union should do a good job of thoroughly grasping and implementing Directive 20 and Conclusion 344; advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on policies and mechanisms to promote the development of collective and private economic sectors; giving opinions on the project to amend the Law on Cooperatives 2003; strengthening the work of supporting, training and fostering cooperative and small and medium-sized enterprise cadres; implementing well the emulation and reward work to create an emulation movement, promoting initiatives to serve the development of production and business in the whole bloc.
On this occasion, on behalf of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, comrade Thai Van Hang awarded emulation flags to 3 member units of the Alliance: Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Xuan Quynh Company Limited, Song Lam Production and Service Enterprise, which had excellent achievements in 2010.
