National conference on office work of Provincial and City Party Committees

On November 6, in Vung Tau city, the Central Party Office held a national conference on the work of the Provincial and City Party Committee offices.

Attending and giving a speech at the conference, Mr. Le Hong Anh - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat emphasized that the Central Party Office and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committee Offices need to have propaganda and education measures so that cadres, party members, civil servants and employees of the Party Committee office system continue to have a correct and profound understanding of the position, role and tasks of the agency.

Those working in the Party Committee office must consider this an important and honorable task, but also a very heavy one, and need to clearly recognize their obligations and responsibilities to the Party, State, people and agency, thereby striving to practice, study, promote strengths, overcome shortcomings to actively work and successfully complete assigned tasks.

Mr. Le Hong Anh noted that the Central Party Office, Provincial Party Committee Offices, and City Party Committee Offices need to proactively follow the entire-term programs of the Central Party Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Provincial and City Party Committees to advise and help implement these entire-term work programs well.

At the same time, the Central Party Office, Provincial Party Committee Offices, and Municipal Party Committee Offices need to do a good job of advising, developing, and organizing the implementation of the annual and quarterly work programs of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and Party committees, focusing on advising on the preliminary and final reviews of resolutions and directives to promptly serve the drafting of documents to be submitted to the next term Party Congress; continue to closely follow reality, promptly detect and recommend to the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and local Party committees to supplement the work program with important new issues arising in socio-economics, national defense, security, foreign affairs, religion, ethnicity, etc.

At the conference, delegates reached a high consensus on the key directions and tasks of the Central Party Office and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committee Offices from now until the end of the 11th National Party Congress. The key directions are to promote the tradition of absolute loyalty, solidarity, creativity, dedication, thoughtfulness, and upholding principles; promote professionalization and modernization of Party Committee office activities; improve the quality of consulting and serving the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees to implement the entire term's program with high quality, participate in preparing the content and successfully organizing the Party Congresses at all levels and the 12th National Party Congress.

The specific key tasks are to improve the quality of general advisory work; promote the promulgation and implementation of regulations, rules and working procedures; promote investment and effective application of information technology in all activities of the Party Central Office and the Offices of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees; continue to implement the Resolution of the 11th Central Committee, Session 4 "Some urgent issues on Party building at present" associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example, implementing things that Party members are not allowed to do...

According to the report, from June 2011 to present, the Central Party Office and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committee Offices have overcome all difficulties, focused on advising and serving the leadership and direction of the Central Party Committee and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees, completing many key tasks in the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Congresses of provinces and cities for the 2011-2015 term; advising and contributing to the successful organization of many important events of the Party and the country; advising and helping to lead and direct well the summary of the implementation and amendment and supplementation of the 1992 Constitution to ensure quality and effectiveness, truly becoming a widespread political activity in the entire Party, the political system and the people.

In addition, the Party Central Office and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committee Offices also advised on the organization of dissemination and implementation of Resolution 4 of the 11th Central Committee on "Some urgent issues on Party building at present," in conjunction with the implementation of Directive 03-CT/TW of the Politburo on continuing to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh.
