New points on the standards for deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term are specifically prescribed for full-time deputies. Specifically, in addition to ensuring the general standards for deputies prescribed in the Law on Organization of Local Government, candidates for full-time National Assembly deputies to serve as deputy heads of delegations in localities must have a university degree or higher; be a member of the Provincial Party Committee, hold the position of director of a department or equivalent or higher, and be included in a number of plans.

Similarly, candidates for the position of full-time Vice Chairman of the People's Council at the provincial, district and communal levels are also specified with a number of specific standards.
