Conference to review the work of the Union, Association and youth movement in 2012

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, December 20, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union held a conference to summarize the work of the Youth Union, Association and youth movement in 2012 and deploy the work program for 2013. Attending the conference was comrade Nguyen Thi Thao - Deputy Head of the Provincial Mass Mobilization Committee.

Last year, implementing the theme of the year "Improving the quality of the Youth Union organization", the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee focused on directing the following key tasks: Continuing to promote the education of ideals, ethics, lifestyle, and traditions of the Communist Youth Union for young people; Implementing Directive 03 CT/TW dated May 14, 2011 of the Politburo on continuing to promote the Study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; Well directing the organization of Youth Union congresses at all levels and the 16th Provincial Youth Union Congress; Actively implementing the Campaign "Youth join hands to build new countryside"; registering to undertake and implement youth projects and tasks.

The propaganda and education work of the Youth Union continues to be widely deployed such as: Propaganda of the Party's and the Youth Union's policies and resolutions; Traditional education through organizing activities "Youth towards the homeland's sea and islands"; responding to "Vietnam Sea and Islands Week 2012". Regarding the movement "5 shocks for socio-economic development and national protection", last year there were 3 provincial-level youth projects, 36 district-level youth projects and hundreds of grassroots youth projects. The whole province has built 38 models, 60 self-managed youth road teams... In addition, the work of building and expanding the solidarity front to gather young people to participate in building the Party and the people's government continues to be focused on. The Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee has directed the building of 4 provincial-level models, 17/20 urban districts have built models. Enhance the association activities for the Youth Union in ethnic minority areas.

The conference approved the 2013 program of activities with the theme: Building an action program to implement the resolution of the 10th National Youth Union Congress; Innovating educational content and methods through practical activities; Focusing on the movements of "Volunteering and volunteering to develop the socio-economy and protect the country" and "Accompanying young people in establishing their careers".

The conference also listened to reports from the Provincial Youth Union with the theme "Joining hands with youth to act and social security"; the results of coordination with Prisons No. 3 and No. 6 (under General Department VIII - Ministry of Public Security) to organize the signing of a cooperation agreement on educating young prisoners to help them reintegrate into the community; listened to grassroots youth organizations reflect and make recommendations on specific issues and tasks that need to be done to improve the quality of youth work in the coming year.

At the conference, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union to 97 groups and 50 individuals. 84 groups and 60 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Youth Union.
