In the 2011-2012 school year, six provinces in the North Central region overcame many difficulties and successfully completed the assigned tasks. Regarding preschool education, the rate of mobilizing 5-year-old children in the provinces reached 99.8%. However, there are still shortcomings and limitations. At the conference, representatives of the provincial education departments discussed solutions to effectively carry out the tasks of the 2012-2013 school year such as: buildingdynamic, sharp educational management staff; determined, focused in direction and administration; innovative thinking and educational methods; expanding democracy in schools along with implementing order and discipline, building a united and unanimous pedagogical collective. At the same time, a number of recommendations and proposals were made for the departments and branches of the Ministry such as: Organizing too many national competitions and competitions; The Ministry's directive documents to the provinces are often not timely; It is necessary to have inter-ministerial documents on socialization of education; Policies and regimes for education in mountainous and ethnic areas...

Concluding the conference, Dr. Nguyen Thi Nghia - Deputy Minister of Education and Training highly appreciated the results achieved by the education sector of 6 provinces in the past school year, evaluated the innovation of inspection and examination work of the sectors; at the same time pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the localities.
