Conference on implementing the first round of university and college entrance exams in 2012

On July 2, at Vinh University, the Steering Committee of the Vinh Inter-School Examination Council held a conference to deploy the work of invigilation of the first round of university and college entrance exams in 2021.

The Vinh Exam Cluster Steering Committee includes Vinh University and leaders of 69 universities from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City participating in the Conference.
According to the Steering Committee's report, the total number of candidates registering for both rounds of the exam from 69 universities in Hanoi, Vinh University and Ho Chi Minh City University is 84,264 applications, an increase of 8,565 candidates compared to 2011.
In the first round of this year's entrance exam at Vinh Examination Cluster, there were 47,020 candidates, of which 15,837 registered for Vinh University, 23,731 candidates from universities in Hanoi, and 7,416 candidates from Ho Chi Minh City University. To prepare well for the first round of this year's entrance exam, Vinh Examination Cluster has arranged 1,388 exam rooms divided into 17 exam clusters and 6 affiliated locations at 72 exam locations. Vinh University has also mobilized 3,859 staff to direct, invigilate, protect, and serve the exam.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Xuan Khoa - Principal of Vinh University, Chairman of the Vinh Inter-School Examination Council said that all preparations have been completed. At the conference, the Council also disseminated new regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the responsibilities of officials, invigilators and candidates.
This afternoon, the exam site steering committees will re-check the facilities and prepare the necessary work for the exam invigilation. Tomorrow (July 3), candidates will complete the exam procedures, on July 4, the first exam subject of block A (Math, Physics, Chemistry) and block A1 (Math, Physics and Foreign Language) will be Math with a test time of 180 minutes.
The first round of the 2012 university and college entrance exam took place on July 4 and 5.
