Conference on the implementation of the 2nd phase of the University Entrance Exam

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 7, at Vinh University, the Vinh Inter-School Examination Council held a Conference to deploy University and College Admissions in 2014. Representatives of more than 50 universities with candidates participating in the Vinh examination cluster attended.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the organization of the first round of university entrance exams. This was an exam that was assessed as safe and serious, with only one candidate in the entire Vinh exam cluster being suspended for bringing a mobile phone into the exam room.

In preparation for the second round, the conference heard the announcement of the decision to establish an inter-school examination council for the Vinh examination cluster chaired by Mr. Dinh Xuan Khoa, Principal of Vinh University; and the announcement of the decision to establish an examination inspection team led by Mr. Ha Van Son, Head of the Inspection Department of Vinh University. In addition, the conference also heard the opinions of representatives of a number of universities and colleges in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on the preparation for the exam.

The second round of the 2014 university and college entrance exams will take place on July 9 and 10. In this round, the entire Vinh exam cluster is expected to have 17,876 candidates from 30 universities in Hanoi and 23 universities in Ho Chi Minh City participating, of which Vinh University is the school with the largest number of candidates with 5,826 candidates. In addition, there are about 400 candidates from 63 colleges that do not organize exams but send candidates to take the exam at Vinh University. According to the plan, there will be 448 officers participating in the second exam supervision, of which 47 are from the PA 83 force, Nghe An Provincial Police.
