Online conference to contribute ideas to the Draft Project to continue innovating and improving the quality and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, March 27, the National Assembly Standing Committee held an online conference with 63 delegations of National Assembly deputies from provinces and cities across the country to discuss the draft Project on continuing to innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations to submit to the 13th National Assembly at the 3rd session. Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu chaired the meeting. At the Nghe An bridge, comrade Pham Van Tan - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired.

The draft Project on continuing to innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations, presented by Comrade Dang Van Chien - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office, Standing member of the Steering Committee for developing the Project, emphasized that the development of the Project aims to continue to improve the quality and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations, meeting the requirements of building a socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam of the people, by the people and for the people, ensuring that the National Assembly is truly the highest state power agency. This is also a practical work, contributing to the preparation for amending and supplementing the 1992 Constitution and the Laws on the organization of the state apparatus.

At the conference, National Assembly deputies from provinces and cities participated in discussions around the project. Through discussions, the majority of deputies agreed with many proposed contents, the draft project has covered issues that need to be innovated, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of the National Assembly's operations.

However, some opinions said that there should be issues raised in the Project such as innovation in the questioning and answering activities at the session. National Assembly delegate Pham Van Tan from Nghe An delegation suggested that when the new draft is issued and comes into effect, Resolution 211 will still be effective or not; Online meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee with 63 provinces and cities need to review the form and organization process.

This afternoon, the National Assembly Standing Committee continued to discuss and give comments on the overall project of economic restructuring associated with transforming the growth model towards improving the efficiency, productivity and competitiveness of the economy.
