National online conference on collecting public opinions on the Draft Amendment to the 1992 Constitution
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 6, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, the National Online Conference on collecting public opinions on the Draft Amendment to the 1992 Constitution was held.
Also attending were ministries, branches and central agencies. At Nghe An bridge, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

At the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Steering Committee listened to and commented on reports on the results of collecting public opinions on the Draft Amended Constitution of 1992 presented by ministries, branches, and centrally-run provinces and cities.
On the side of Nghe An province, up to now, 20/20 districts, cities, towns, 100% of communes, wards and towns in the province have deployed implementation steps and organized conferences to collect public opinions on the draft amended 1992 Constitution; 67% of agencies and units have completed collecting comments. At the provincial and district levels, 830 conferences have been organized to collect public opinions on the draft amended constitution with 450,000 comments participating. The province has also opened a website for everyone to follow. At the same time, it has placed articles for experts to participate and give comments on some important contents... Representing Nghe An province, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong presented some comments on "Position, functions, tasks, powers of the People's Council, People's Committee, relationship with central state agencies" in the Draft amended 1992 Constitution.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highly appreciated the results of Nghe An province. He hoped that Nghe An would organize a deeper and broader consultation with ethnic minorities in mountainous and highland areas. Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the province, the Deputy Prime Minister took note and would provide timely instructions.
