Online conference to collect public opinions on the Draft Land Law (amended)

(Baonghean.vn) -DayToday, March 4, the Provincial People's Committee held an online conference to deploy the plan to collect public opinions on the Draft Law on Land (amended). Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired. Attending were leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of districts and cities at online bridges.

At the conference, after the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment reported on the basic contents of the Land Law (amended), highlighting new points compared to the 2003 Land Law; Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on organizing public consultation on the Draft Land Law (amended); Decision of the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating the Plan for organizing public consultation on the Draft Land Law (amended), there were 8 comments on promoting the right to ownership, creating consensus of the people, expressing the people's aspirations. At the same time, raising awareness and responsibility of all classes of people, agencies and organizations for the amendment of the Land Law.

At the end of the conference, comrade Dinh Viet Hong requested departments, branches, sectors, districts and cities to organize discussions and collect public opinions in appropriate forms, creating favorable conditions for people of all walks of life to contribute their opinions to the Draft Law on Land (amended). The organization of collecting public opinions must be conducted widely, democratically, publicly, scientifically; ensuring progress, quality, practicality and economy; public opinions must be fully and accurately synthesized and studied promptly and seriously. Ensure the time for organizing public opinions in the whole province from February 1, 2013 to March 31, 2013.
