The Elderly Association focuses its activities on the grassroots level.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 19, the Provincial Association of the Elderly held a meeting to summarize the work of 2021 and deploy tasks for 2022. Attending were representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors and the Association of the Elderly of 21 districts, cities and towns.
In 2021,Association of the Elderlyhas coordinated with relevant sectors to grasp the living situation of members (the whole province has over 405 thousand members), especially the poor elderly and people in especially difficult circumstances. In particular, it has coordinatedremove temporary housingand repaired damaged houses for nearly 240 members; visited the sick of nearly 120,000 members. Currently, the whole province has nearly 4,000 elderly people who own farms and businesses.

In 2022, the Association of the Elderly will continue to focus on grassroots activities.
