Tuong Duong District Farmers' Association: Competition for Good Propagandists

(Baonghean.vn)- On July 30, Tuong Duong District Farmers' Association organized the 2015 Excellent Propagandist Contest.

The contest was attended by 14 contestants representing the propaganda team of the Farmers' Association of 14 bases in the district.

Through the competitions of “Presentation skills”, “Knowledge” and “Abilities”, the candidates demonstrated their understanding and propaganda skills in the topics of studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; The role and responsibility of the grassroots Farmers’ Association in agricultural development, building new rural areas; maintaining order and fighting against social evils in rural areas; exploiting and using natural resources, protecting the rural environment and adapting to climate change; organizing and implementing emulation movements launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association.

Not only good at propaganda and mobilization work, the contestants who are cadres of the Farmers' Association at the grassroots level also brought to the contest many attractive talent performances through the "xoi" and "lam" melodies, singing and dancing performances, and short plays with profound propaganda messages and imbued with the cultural identity of the highlands.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 3 third prizes. The contestant who won first prize will participate in the final round of the 2015 excellent propagandist contest organized by the Provincial Farmers' Association in mid-August.
