Provincial Farmers' Association implements production models, changes people's awareness
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Chairman of Nghe An Farmers' Association Nguyen Quang Tung, the implementation of new production models has gradually changed farmers' awareness from small-scale production to applying science and technology in commodity production, value chain production, bringing high economic value per unit area.
On the afternoon of August 20, in Thanh Chuong district, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with the Thanh Chuong District Farmers' Association and related units to organize a program to hand over breeding goats to implement a breeding model in Thanh Ha commune; release fish fry and purchase raw materials at Trang Khong dam, Thanh Xuan commune.

Attending the program were comrades: Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Quang Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Tran Xuan Hoc - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
In Thanh Ha commune, the Provincial Farmers' Association has handed over a model of breeding goats to 3 farmer households with 21 breeding goats (each household has 7 breeding goats). The Provincial Farmers' Association and Thanh Chuong district also supported households in training on breeding goats and mixed feed for livestock. They directed and guided households to renovate, upgrade, and build barns according to technical standards.

In Thanh Xuan commune, the delegation attended the fish seed release and raw material purchasing program organized by Thanh Chuong District Farmers' Association in coordination with TYP NATURA Limited Liability Company.
Accordingly, the Thanh Chuong District Farmers' Association supported the connection of a supplier of 4 tons of fish fry to help Mr. Nguyen Canh Chung's household in Thanh Ha commune to raise fish at Trang Khong dam, Thanh Xuan commune. Trang Khong dam has a large water surface area for raising fish, but previously people only raised fish in an extensive manner, which did not promote economic efficiency.

The District Farmers’ Association connects with businesses to supply fish breeds and long-term product consumption for households to improve product quality and value, and long-term product consumption for farmers.
