(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 10, the Women's Union of Cua Lo town held a conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement in the period of 2010 - 2015 and deploy directions and tasks for the period of 2015 - 2020.

One of the movements that attracts a large number of women to participate and brings practical results is the competition to develop the economy, help each other eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. Up to now, in the fields of tourism services, seafood processing, small-scale industry, agricultural production, there is a large participation of women, in which many women have become typical examples with an income of over 100 million VND/year. This not only improves the lives of women but also reduces the rate of poor households from 7% in 2011 to 4.5%.

Along with the economic development competition, Cua Lo women also actively participate in the movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families", the movement of skillful mass mobilization, the movement to build "5 no 3 clean" families, the movement "Building a warm home". In particular, the movement with the deepest meaning and attracting the most women to participate is "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh".

In addition to evaluating the results achieved in the past time, the Conference also discussed and approved plans and solutions for implementation in the period of 2015 - 2020, and organized the signing of emulation agreements between units. On this occasion, Cua Lo Town honored 8 collectives and 19 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in the period of 2010 - 2015.
