Workshop on revising and supplementing the book 'History of the Inspectorate of Nghe An province (1957 -2025)'

In the history of the Vietnamese revolution, the Inspectorate has always been identified by President Ho Chi Minh and our Party and State as an essential function of the State, as “the eyes and ears of the superiors, the friend of the inferiors”. Right from the early days of the establishment of the revolutionary government, President Ho Chi Minh signed Decree No. 46 establishing the Special Inspectorate (November 23, 1945), marking the birth of the Vietnamese Inspectorate.

Along with the historical flow of the whole industry, Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate was also established in 1957, closely associated with the glorious revolutionary journey of the Party Committee and people of the province.

Over 68 years with many different historical periods - from the resistance war against colonialism and imperialism to the cause of national construction and defense, and then the period of renovation and international integration - Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate has always affirmed its important role and position in the political system, contributing to maintaining discipline, order, preventing corruption and negativity, resolving complaints and denunciations, protecting the legitimate interests of the State and the people.

The re-editing of the book "History of the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate 1957-2025" aims to systematically, objectively and scientifically record the formation and development process, achievements and valuable lessons of the Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate.

At the same time, we show gratitude and honor the merits and contributions of generations of cadres and civil servants who have devoted their intelligence and strength to the common cause of the entire Industry. Thereby, we foster pride, forge courage, sense of responsibility and will to strive for the team of inspectors today and tomorrow.

The organization of the Workshop aims to collect comments and contributions from former Chief Inspectors, Deputy Chief Inspectors and Inspectorate officers through the periods, scientists, historical researchers, invited delegates and members participating in the compilation to publish the book "History of the Inspectorate of Nghe An province" with quality, ensuring scientific and objective nature.

At the Workshop, the comments added more materials and focused on key issues: The layout and structure of the draft need to arrange chapters and sections to ensure coherence, scientificity, and accessibility; the presentation style, language, illustrations, and presentation methods should ensure that the book is both scientific and close to readers.

Events, witnesses, and documents require accuracy, completeness, and objectivity. The content of the history book needs to evaluate and summarize comprehensively the achievements, results, causes, and lessons learned of the industry in each period; highlight the 68-year tradition of the industry; and at the same time, draw out core values ​​to guide the development of the provincial Inspectorate in the new period.
