In recent years, the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advances has successfully implemented many topics and projects in the field of Science and Technology such as: Project "Building and developing Vinh geographical indications for Nghe An orange products"; Ministry-level project "Application of science and technology advances to build a model for safe vegetable production (VietGap) in Nghe An"; Project "Completing production technology and using functional microbial fertilizers for coffee and peanuts in Nghe An". At the same time, it has organized consulting, technology transfer and production, participated in coordinating and transferring 8 projects, transferring many layers of technology on safe and high-quality vegetable production, technology for producing edible mushrooms and medicinal herbs, household-scale microbial production, etc.
At the workshop, the Center's staff had many presentations on: Solutions for safe and economical use of electricity in rural areas; Application of BIO-E biological products to treat cassava residue in livestock farming; Conservation and development of non-timber forest products; Model of growing sprouts; Prospects of production and use of crop productivity products; Development of some high-quality vegetable varieties; Application of science and technology to develop rare animal breeding; Solutions for preserving genes of rare specialty crops and livestock and model of treating water hyacinth in Vinh rivers and city water reservoirs.
