Workshop on comments on the Project to Improve Population Quality

Recently, Nghe An Department of Health in coordination with the Provincial Population Department organized a workshop to contribute ideas to the Project "Improving population quality through propaganda and mobilization for early detection of disabilities and diseases in fetuses and newborns in Nghe An province, period 2011-2015".

At the workshop, opinions were unanimous in focusing on raising awareness of prenatal and newborn screening for officials and people in the area implementing the project, striving to have 50% of districts and 41.7% of communes in the province implementing newborn screening by the end of 2015; integrating prenatal and newborn screening into cultural and social activities.
