Workshop Connecting businesses with Nghe An Chemistry Association

The workshop was held online with the participation of more than 50 delegates who are Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors, and experts in Chemistry from the Institute of Science and Technology, hospitals, universities, and many businesses inside and outside the province.

The workshop was chaired by Associate Professor, Dr. Cao Cu Giac - Chairman of Nghe An Chemistry Association. Also attending was Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang - Principal of the School.Vinh University, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education and Training.

Previously, on January 10, 2021, Nghe An Chemistry Association was established under Decision No. 4930/QD-UBND of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee with the participation of over 500 members. In which, many scientists, teachers and business organizations inside and outside the province participated.

This is a non-profit, non-governmental, professional and social organization of those who have been working in the field of chemistry in Nghe An, Nghe An people at home and abroad, and organizations related to the field of chemistry voluntarily established, with the aim of gathering and uniting members, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of members, supporting each other to operate effectively, contributing to the development of education, economy and society of the country.

The workshop "Connecting businesses with Nghe An Chemistry Association in 2021" is one of the key and core tasks of the Association and will be deployed annually to connect businesses to Nghe An Chemistry Association inside and outside the province.

This is also the content to implement the Resolution of the first Congress of Nghe An Chemistry Association for the term 2021 - 2026 with the development orientation based on two main pillars: teaching and researching chemical science combined with the application of chemical achievements and technology in the field of production and business for individuals, organizations and enterprises inside and outside the province.

At this workshop, the delegates had many practical and meaningful discussions, focusing on the contents including introducing the potential, resources and organizations of Nghe An Chemistry Association to businesses; introducing some fields of applied chemistry research and interdisciplinary science in production practices; some applications of the chemical field of businesses in Vietnam...

In addition, some businesses also introduced to the workshop some successful applications in practice such as the origin of oriental medicine products under the Xuan Vinh brand; Origin of medicinal herbs in Western Nghe An and An Xoa tree; Application of science and technology to produce products at Pu Mat Medicinal Materials Joint Stock Company; Forms of "super materials" of the future;...

The workshop is also a forum for businesses and scientists to exchange and share experiences in research and application of chemistry in production and business.businessand propose solutions to enhance cooperation.

In his closing speech at the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Cao Cu Giac - Chairman of Nghe An Chemistry Association affirmed: The AssociationChemistryNghe An is always aware of the important role of chemistry in many production and business fields of enterprises inside and outside the province.

Therefore, the connection and mutual support between the Chemistry Association and businesses will contribute to strengthening cooperation and sustainable development, in which "Chemistry goes first to pave the way, businesses go together to develop".

Through the workshop, the Organizing Committee received experience sharing as well as specific exchanges and orders from businesses so that Nghe An Chemistry Association, directly the Association's Center for Chemical Research and Application, will have plans to prepare resources and potential to accompany businesses.

The workshop also agreed to assign the Association’s Center for Chemical Research and Application to act as a focal point for connecting with businesses to receive problems from businesses (orders) for the Association to research and implement. At the same time, the Association will work with the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An province to register topics to solve problems of businesses and cooperate with scientists to sign contracts for applied scientific research services to support businesses in production and business./.
