The workshop opened this morning (December 15) at Nguyen Du Memorial Site, Tien Dien Commune, Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province, co-organized by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, the Vietnam Kieu Studies Association, and the Institute of Literature on the occasion of Nguyen Du Memorial Site receiving the Certificate of Special National Monument.

Attending the workshop were the delegation of the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association led by Professor, Dr. Ahn Kuong Hwan - Cho Sun University (Korea); Associate Professor Nguyen Van Hoan - Chairman of the Vietnam Kieu Studies Association along with many scientists, historians, researchers on the Tale of Kieu, artists from Nghe An, central and local journalists, representatives of the Nguyen Tien Dien family...
Before opening the conference, the Organizing Committee held an incense offering ceremony at the tomb of the great poet Nguyen Du and Nguyen Du Church.

Scientific workshop "The flow of Nghe An culture from The Tale of Kieu to the New Poetry movement"
The 66 papers submitted to the conference mainly emphasized three major areas: Nguyen Du's background, family and hometown, approaches to Nguyen Du's works, the influence of Truyen Kieu on Vietnamese culture and literature, bringing new and profound perspectives on Truyen Kieu, Nguyen Du, the Nguyen Tien Dien family and the influences of Nghe An culture on this work throughout the process of Vietnamese poetry to the New Poetry movement. Among them are some outstanding presentations such as: Learning about the Confucian period of Nguyen Nghiem (Researcher Nguyen Khac Bao), Finding gold in the Tale of Kieu (Researcher Tran Tinh Ha), The legacy of parallel sentences related to Nguyen Du and the Tale of Kieu (Researcher Dao Tam Tinh), Vietnamese literature and the translation and publishing of the Tale of Kieu in Korea (Professor Ahn Kuong Hwan), From the individual in Nguyen Du's poetry to the ego in the new poetry movement (Associate Professor, Dr. Ly Hoai Thu), The perception of the universe and humanity through the word Spring in the Tale of Kieu to New Poetry (Researcher Bui Viet Thang), The Tale of Kieu living among everyone (Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Truong Lich), Expecting a version of the Tale of Kieu close to the original, reasonable, and highly consensual (poet Vuong Trong) ... This is also an opportunity to record and announce the results of research and new discoveries of researchers and a large number of readers about Nguyen Du and the Tale of Kieu on the journey towards the 250th anniversary of Nguyen Du's birth.

Presenting gifts from the Kieu Hoc Association to Ha Tinh province
On this occasion, the Management Board of Nguyen Du Memorial Site launched the electronic information portal “nguyendu.vn”. The Kieu Studies Association launched the Kieu Studies Office in Ha Tinh. Within the framework of the workshop, delegates visited the Nguyen Cong Tru relic site and listened to Ca Tru singing.
The workshop will take place within 1 day. The ceremony to receive the Certificate of Special National Monument “Nguyen Du Memorial Site” will take place tonight at the Cultural Center of Ha Tinh province.
