International Scientific Conference: 40 years of national reunification with the renovation process

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 27, 2015, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences organized an International Scientific Conference with the theme "40 years of national reunification with the cause of innovation, development and international integration".

The workshop aimed to clarify the values ​​and great significance of the event of April 30, 1975, the complete liberation of the South, the reunification of the Fatherland in the history of the nation's resistance against foreign invaders, affirming the great achievements gained after 40 years of national reunification and nearly 30 years of implementing the comprehensive renovation and international integration policy, carrying out the task of building and defending the Fatherland, for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, a democratic, equitable and civilized society; at the same time, recognizing the opportunities and challenges posed in the process of realizing the goal of industrialization and modernization of the country, strengthening national potential in all aspects, firmly protecting independence, unity and territorial integrity.

The conference received the participation of most of the famous scientists, with a long history and valuable research works on Vietnamese history in general, on the history of the resistance war against the US to save the country in particular from the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Institute of History, Institute of Religious Studies, Vietnam Military History Museum, Vietnam Military History Institute, Party History Institute, Ho Chi Minh Institute and leaders from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Institute of Public Security History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University, Hanoi Pedagogical University...

In particular, the conference also had the participation and writing of papers by famous scholars from France, the United States, Australia, Russia, the Lao National Institute of Social Sciences, and the Royal Academy of Sciences of Cambodia, with 60 quality scientific reports.
