Scientific seminar on comrade Vo Chi Cong
On August 5, the Central Propaganda Department, Ho Chi Minh City National Academy of Public Administration and Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee jointly organized a workshop: "Comrade Vo Chi Cong with the Vietnamese revolution and his homeland Quang Nam, Da Nang.

The workshop is one of the activities to implement the direction of the Secretariat and the Prime Minister's Plan on organizing the 100th anniversary of the birth of State Council Chairman Vo Chi Cong (August 7, 1912 - August 7, 2012).
65 reports and presentations at the conference initially outlined the process of enlightenment and participation in revolutionary activities, while affirming the great contributions of comrade Vo Chi Cong to the revolutionary cause of our Party and nation.
The scientific reports also highlight the valuable qualities and revolutionary ethics of comrade Vo Chi Cong - a staunch revolutionary soldier, a talented and virtuous leader of our Party and State, one of the excellent students of President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding son of his homeland Quang Nam and Da Nang.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Dinh The Huynh emphasized that the life and revolutionary career of comrade Vo Chi Cong is a shining example of a loyal and exemplary communist who sacrificed his whole life and fought for the Party's ideals and for the people's happiness.
Comrade Vo Chi Cong clearly demonstrated the qualities of a staunch revolutionary soldier, a talented leader, always thinking and acting creatively, starting from reality, taking the results of practical activities as the measure of truth, and being closely attached to the people. He was a leader loved by the people and respected by international friends.
The scientific conference commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Vo Chi Cong was solemnly held at a time when the entire Party, people and army were actively implementing the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 4th Central Conference "Some urgent issues on Party building at present" and Directive 03 of the Politburo "Continuing to promote studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh". The success of the conference contributed to increasing spiritual motivation, motivating all levels, sectors and localities; encouraging cadres, party members and compatriots and soldiers nationwide to enthusiastically compete in creative labor, work, study and practice to successfully implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, and educate patriotic traditions, thus the conference had even more practical significance./.
