Theoretical Seminar between the Communist Parties of Vietnam and China

The theoretical workshop is a bright spot in the relationship between the two Parties and the exchange of theory and experience between the two sides is very necessary.

Implementing the cooperation plan between the two Parties, at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the delegation of our Party led by Comrade Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, visited China and attended the 9th Theoretical Workshop between the two Parties with the theme "Building a clean and strong Party in the new situation - Chinese experience, Vietnamese experience".

On the afternoon of July 26, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Comrade Liu Yunshan, member of the Politburo Standing Committee and Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on behalf of the Chinese Central leadership, warmly received Comrade Dinh The Huynh and the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Comrade Liu Yunshan warmly welcomed Comrade Dinh The Huynh, who led the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to visit and attend the theoretical seminar between the two Parties in China; expressed his belief that the successful organization of this seminar would enrich the theory and practice of Party building, including building the style of Party leaders as well as preventing corruption in each country; believed that the theoretical seminar was a bright spot in the relationship between the two Parties and that the exchange of theory and experience between the two sides was very necessary and of great significance to the cause of development and building socialism in each country, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding and trust between the two Parties, the two countries and the two peoples.

Comrade Liu Yunshan affirmed that the Chinese Party and Government attach great importance to the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with Vietnam, expressing his delight at the positive developments in China-Vietnam relations in recent times, bringing practical results for the benefit of the people of the two countries, making an important contribution to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

On behalf of the delegation, comrade Dinh The Huynh sent his regards and condolences to the people of Gansu province of China who suffered losses due to the recent earthquake. He affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always attach importance to consolidating and developing relations with China; believing that strengthening and consolidating friendship, expanding and improving the effectiveness of equal and mutually beneficial cooperation in all fields, and properly handling existing and arising issues in the spirit of the joint statements and documents signed between the two sides during the visit to China by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Truong Tan Sang will further develop Vietnam-China relations, in line with the interests of the people of the two countries, for peace, stability and development of the region and the world.

Previously, the delegation also held talks with the delegation of the Communist Party of China led by Comrade Liu Qibao, Politburo member, Secretary of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Propaganda Department. The two sides informed each other about the situation of each Party and each country; exchanged in-depth opinions on the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries; assessed the results of cooperation between the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China in the past time, and discussed cooperation directions in the coming time.

The two sides affirmed the need to continue to strengthen theoretical exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties in the coming time, promote exchanges and cooperation between the two Committees and press agencies of the two sides to contribute to enhancing understanding, mutual trust and friendship between the people of the two countries.

During the visit, Comrade Hoang Binh Quan, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission, Deputy Head of the Communist Party of Vietnam delegation, also had a working session with Comrade Vuong Gia Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Head of the Central External Relations Commission of the Communist Party of China, to discuss and agree on plans and measures to strengthen cooperation between the two Parties in the coming time.
