Workshop on professional skills development for pedagogical students
(Baonghean.vn) -On November 14 and 15, in Vinh City, the Ministry of Education and Training, the High School and Vocational College Teacher Development Project organized a National Workshop on developing professional skills for pedagogical students through the practice school system.
Attending the workshop were leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training; colleges, universities of education, multidisciplinary schools training teachers and Departments of Education and Training nationwide.

The workshop was held with the aim of sharing theoretical knowledge and experience in teacher training in general, in pedagogical training, especially in developing professional skills for pedagogical students at the place where teaching and education activities take place through the practice school system in particular, aiming to find breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of teacher training.
At the workshop, delegates from the Ministry of Education and Training, the High School and Vocational Teacher Development Project, universities, colleges, multidisciplinary schools that train teachers, etc. presented many papers, focusing on main topics, such as: Regulations on training and practicing pedagogical skills in teacher training activities; improving the quality of vocational training in teacher training institutions; the role of practical high schools in forming vocational capacity of pedagogical students to meet modern teaching requirements; It is known that in Vietnam, the Project for Developing High School and Vocational College Teachers was launched in early 2007 and is expected to end in late 2003. The project is a gathering place for hundreds of consultants, veteran educators and many prestigious international consultants who have researched and proposed a number of solutions of strategic significance in the process of training and fostering high school and vocational college teachers in Vietnam.
