16th National Cancer Prevention Conference
On October 25-26, in Hanoi, K Hospital coordinated with the Vietnam Medical and Pharmaceutical Association and the Vietnam Cancer Association to organize the 16th National Cancer Prevention Conference.

Minister of Health, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien; many professors, doctors, scientists, and leading experts in the country on cancer diagnosis and treatment attended the conference.
The workshop focused on discussing reports on the burden of cancer and the national cancer prevention strategy to 2020, reports on the results of the national cancer prevention project for the period 2010 - 2012 of localities across the country and nearly 60 scientific reports of professors, doctors, engineers, nurses, scientists working in the field of cancer prevention at home and abroad.
At the Conference, in addition to reports on the application of world medical achievements in the care and palliation of domestic cancer patients, there were many reports showing the development of domestic science and technology to serve the needs of definitive diagnosis and diagnosis to help prescribe targeted treatment (medicine of all types) for cancer patients. Many research projects have been and are being effectively applied in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer at hospitals such as: K Hospital, 108 Military Central Hospital, Hue Central Hospital... bringing more opportunities and hope to patients.
