Conference on General Secretary Tran Phu and the Vietnamese Revolution

On April 26, the scientific workshop "General Secretary Tran Phu with the Vietnamese revolution and his birthplace Phu Yen" took place in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province.

The workshop was organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Tran Phu - the first General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (May 1, 1904 - May 1, 2014). Mr. Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department attended the workshop.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dinh The Huynh emphasized that as General Secretary, Comrade Tran Phu made outstanding contributions, leaving our Party and people a shining example of intelligence, morality, and communist spirit.

General Secretary Tran Phu is an example of sacrifice and lifelong struggle for the Party's ideals, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people, a shining example of the will and determination of a communist party member; an outstanding theorist of the Party. Comrade Tran Phu's name and career have forever become a noble symbol for our cadres, party members and people to respect and follow.

At the workshop, delegates listened to scientists present eight papers: General Secretary Tran Phu - An indomitable communist, an outstanding leader of the Party (Professor, Doctor Ta Ngoc Tan); General Secretary Tran Phu - An example of a loyal and exemplary communist (Ha Dang - Former Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Committee); General Secretary Tran Phu and Party building work - Theoretical and practical values ​​(Associate Professor, Doctor Vu Van Phuc); Comrade General Secretary Tran Phu and his revolutionary activities in Saigon-Gia Dinh (Vo Van Thuong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee);

Comrade Tran Phu's contributions to the formation and development of the military line of the Communist Party of Vietnam (Major General Vu Quang Dao); Comrade Tran Phu's time studying at the Oriental University (Soviet Union) (Associate Professor, Doctor Trinh Thi Dinh); Ha Tinh Party Committee and people - 84 years of building and maturing to be worthy of being the homeland of General Secretary Tran Phu (Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee); Phu Yen, the sacred atmosphere of mountains and rivers - Birthplace of General Secretary Tran Phu (Dr. Dao Nhat Kim).

According to the conference theme, delegates analyzed and explained the influencing factors of Phu Yen land, rich in cultural and historical traditions, the birthplace of comrade Tran Phu - the first General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Many papers have delved into the life, career and great contributions of comrade Tran Phu to the Party and the Vietnamese Revolution.

From the early days of participating in revolutionary activities until becoming the first General Secretary of the Party, comrade Tran Phu always showed a steadfast stance, ready to sacrifice and devote himself for the Party's ideal goals.

The life, revolutionary career and noble sacrifice of comrade Tran Phu were extremely heroic, representing Vietnamese patriotism. The indomitable and resilient example of Communist Tran Phu will forever be engraved in Vietnamese history with his immortal spirit of "Keep the will to fight". His brilliant ideology and morality will continue to be a great source of encouragement for all classes and generations of our people.

Many presentations at the workshop reflected on the activities of the Party Committee and the people of Phu Yen studying the example of General Secretary Tran Phu; cadres and party members of the Phu Yen Party Committee promoted the tradition of their homeland, cultivated and trained revolutionary ethics, persistently studied, improved all aspects of qualifications, actively participated in practical activities, always put the interests of the Party, the revolution and the people above all, built a clean and strong Phu Yen Party Committee, worthy of being the birthplace of the first General Secretary of the Party.
