Sports Festival of Transport Construction Corporation 4

(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 51st anniversary of CIENCO 4's tradition day and receive the title of Labor Hero, on the morning of October 18, in Vinh City, the Traffic Construction Corporation 4 held the opening ceremony of the 2013 sports festival and the Nghe An - CIENCO 4 Open Tennis Tournament.

Comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and delivered a welcome speech at the sports festival.

The sports festival attracted 1,092 athletes to compete in 5 sports, mini football, table tennis, badminton, tug of war and tennis. Of these, 792 athletes were officials, employees and workers of 27 companies and member units of CIENCO 4; 300 athletes were leaders, managers, businessmen and tennis clubs in Nghe An.

Provincial leaders and leaders of the Corporation presented souvenir flags and flowers to units participating in the sports festival.

Through the sports festival, it contributes to promoting the movement of physical training and sports among officers, employees and workers of CIENCO 4 to develop strongly, creating a spiritual motivation to promote production and business, contributing to the successful implementation of the production and business goals and tasks of the Corporation in 2013 and the following years; at the same time, it demonstrates the strength and solidarity of more than 8,000 officers, employees and workers of the Traffic Construction Corporation 4; continuing to carry out the movement of physical training following the example of Uncle Ho to build and protect the Fatherland.

Also at the opening ceremony of the sports festival, the leaders of the Traffic Construction Corporation 4 launched a call for cadres, employees and workers to support the people of the Central region affected by the recent storm No. 11 with the amount of money collected being more than 1.9 billion VND and 48 enterprises registered to support 110 breeding cows (equivalent to 1.5 billion VND) to support poor families in Nghe An province. It is known that with the spirit of sharing and practical support to help the people of the 4 provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Thanh Hoa affected by storm No. 10, recently, cadres and workers of CIENCO 4 also actively donated 1.2 billion VND to support the people of the 4 provinces that suffered damage.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the sports festival, comrade Thai Van Hang highly appreciated the practical activities and community responsibility of the collective of cadres, employees and workers of CIENCO4 towards the people of the Central region in general and Nghe An in particular. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that the Transport Construction Corporation 4 and its member companies would continue to achieve many successes in production and business, and at the same time have more practical and effective social activities, contributing with Nghe An province to implement the sustainable hunger eradication and poverty reduction program.
