Spring crop planting competition in Con Cuong

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 30, 2015, Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district organized a rice planting competition. This is an annual activity when entering the new year.spring crop in Chi Khe commune as well as many other areas of Con Cuong district.

This year, the commune's rice planting competition was held in the fields of Trung Dinh village with the participation of 5 villages including Trung Dinh, Nam Dinh, Tong Chai, Bai Van and Lam Khe. Each team consisted of 3 women and 2 men. This is a competition to encourage and motivate the labor production movement of local people.

Ms. Luong Thi Tam, whose field was chosen to host the rice planting competition, said: “I had to go to the field at 3am to prepare for the competition. I think this competition is very meaningful in encouraging people to be enthusiastic about production.”
