Competition for excellent teachers of vocational secondary schools

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 18, at the University of Economics, the Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2015 Provincial Competition for Excellent Teachers of Vocational Secondary Schools.

The contest aims to encourage the emulation movement of "Teaching well, learning well"; enhance the exchange of experiences in innovating teaching content and methods between schools and educational institutions... thereby assessing the quality of the teaching staff, thereby building appropriate training and fostering plans to improve the professional qualifications and skills of teachers of vocational secondary schools, contributing to improving the quality of education and training, meeting the requirements of comprehensive innovation of education.

Mr. Thai Huy Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training opened the contest.

This competition attracted 21 excellent teachers representing 3 participating schools: Nghe An University of Economics, Nghe An Pedagogical College and Vietnam - England Intermediate School. Each participating teacher had to go through three contents: a practical test of a specific teaching lesson; handling situations in educational activities and a test of knowledge about vocational secondary education.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee will select the teachers with the highest achievements to participate in the 10th National Excellent Teacher Contest for Vocational Secondary Schools in 2015./.
