(Baonghean.vn) - Within the framework of the Chung cake offering ceremony to honor Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, this afternoon, February 23 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), at Saigon - Kim Lien Hotel (Vinh City), a traditional Chung cake wrapping contest took place. Attending were 4 units from Huu Nghi Joint Stock Company, Saigon - Kim Lien Joint Stock Company; Phuong Dong Petroleum Tourism Joint Stock Company and Muong Thanh - Song Lam Hotel.

This is the second year that Nghe An Tourism Association has coordinated with tourism businesses in the province to organize a traditional banh chung wrapping contest at the beginning of the New Year with the aim of exchanging and learning to improve the skills of chefs while preserving the traditional cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people.

After 1 hour of excitement, the jury decided to award first prize to Muong Thanh - Song Lam Hotel; second prize to Huu Nghi Joint Stock Company; third prize to Saigon - Kim Lien Joint Stock Company and Phuong Dong Petroleum Tourism Joint Stock Company.
