Science and Technology Creativity Competition for High School Students, 2013-2014 School Year

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of January 6, Nghe An Department of Education and Training organized the Science and Technology Innovation Contest for high school students for the 2013-2014 school year.

The Science and Engineering Competition is the world's largest competition for high school students and has been held since 1950 with the participation of many countries.

In Nghe An, although this is the first year of organization, there have been 55 topics in 13 fields from 12 high schools and 10 education departments in the whole province participating. These are the most excellent topics, selected through many rounds of competition at the grassroots level, many projects have high applicability.

The contest takes place over two days, June 6 and 7. In addition to the exhibition, the contestants will have to present their works, the best works will be selected to compete nationwide. Thereby, to encourage high school students to be passionate about research, scientific, technological and technical innovation and apply the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems in life, contributing to promoting innovation in organizational forms and teaching methods. This is also an opportunity for participating students to introduce their scientific and technical research results, enhancing exchange and learning for students in the whole province.
