The 3rd Nghe An Province Skilled Workers Competition
(Baonghean.vn) -On July 10 in Vinh City, Nghe An Province Cooperative Union organized the 3rd Nghe An Province Skilled Craftsmen Competition, 2013.
Participating in the contest are 41 contestants who are members, workers, and artisans who have been selected and are working in cooperatives, handicraft enterprises, and craft villages from the districts of Quy Chau, Que Phong, Con Cuong, Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Nghia Dan, Thanh Chuong, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc... With 3 groups of competing professions: Brocade weaving, broom making, and bamboo and rattan weaving.
The contest is an activity to review 2 years of implementing Resolution 06 of the province; At the same time, it is associated with the key plan objectives of the Provincial Cooperative Union in 2013: vocational training, developing craft villages and developing small-scale industries (TTCN) in mountainous districts. Each profession has 2 forms of compulsory competition and creative competition.
Awarding the first prize to Nghi Loc district team
The Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union awarded first prize to 3 individuals in the professions of bamboo and rattan weaving, brocade weaving, and broom making.
After a day of exciting and serious competition, the organizing committee selected and awarded prizes to 4 groups and 9 individuals with the highest results. For the group prizes: First prize went to Nghi Loc district team; Second prize went to Yen Thanh district team; Third prize went to Tuong Duong district team and Fourth prize went to Quy Chau district team.
For individual awards: First prize in bamboo and rattan weaving went to Mr. Doan Anh Tuan - Duc Phong Company Limited; First prize in brocade weaving went to Ms. Quang Thi Quy (Thach Giam - Tuong Duong); First prize in broom weaving went to Ms. Ho Thi Thuan (Nghi Hung - Nghi Loc); Second prize in bamboo and rattan weaving: Ms. Nguyen Thi Luu (Nghi Thai - Nghi Loc); Second prize in brocade weaving: Ms. Lo Thi Nga (Chau Tien - Quy Chau); Second prize in broom weaving: Ms. Nguyen Thi Duong (Nghi Hung - Nghi Loc). Third prize in bamboo and rattan weaving: Luu Thi Ha (Phu Thanh - Yen Thanh); Third prize in brocade weaving: Ngan Thi Dao (Chi Khe - Con Cuong); And Third prize in broom weaving: Nguyen Cong Truc (Nghia Hoi - Nghia Dan).
