The National Assembly approved a policy of free tuition for public students from the 2025-2026 school year.

The budget for implementing the tuition exemption and support policy is guaranteed by the State budget according to the current State budget decentralization.

The National Assembly passed the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended) with many notable new regulations.

With 418/423 National Assembly delegates participating in the vote in favor (reaching 99%), on June 24, the National Assembly passed the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended).
The National Assembly agreed to continue reducing VAT by 2% until the end of 2026.

From July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026, the VAT rate will be reduced by 2% for groups of goods and services currently subject to a tax rate of 10%, down to 8%.
